Is it free?
Yes. Free accounts get 20 free AI photo edits a day on HeyDreaming Local; Pro and Max get 100 local edits a day. Nano Banana 2 edits require Pro or Max and 2 credits per edit. No credit card is needed for the free plan. Daily allowances reset at midnight UTC.
Can I generate an image without uploading a photo?
This editor starts from an uploaded photo. Text-to-image generation is a separate tool and uses credits; it is not part of the free photo-edit allowance.
Do I need an account?
Only when you press Generate. You can upload a photo and write your prompt without signing in; the first time you generate, sign in with Google and the edit runs immediately. After that you stay signed in on your browser.
Can I use the edited photos commercially?
Yes. The edits you create are yours to use in product listings, ads, and social posts, as long as you have the rights to the photo you upload. Photos you don't own — like a competitor's image — are still their owner's property.
What file types and sizes are supported?
JPEG, PNG, and WEBP files up to 20 MB. Very large images are resized to 2048 pixels on the long side before editing, which keeps edits fast and is still high enough resolution for marketplace listings and most ad placements.
What happens to my photos?
Your uploads and results are stored privately on your account and aren't listed anywhere public; anyone you send a result link to can open it. HeyDreaming doesn't use your photos to train models. Large images are resized before editing, and you can download the result in one click.
